Automated Driver Statement & Reporting System
A lightweight reporting system designed to reduce repetitive manual work in driver statement preparation and create a more consistent process for calculations, PDF generation and reporting.
The Challenge
Preparing driver statements required information to be collected, calculated and formatted repeatedly for individual drivers. Driver, percentage, reporting period and included transactions could vary from statement to statement.
The Approach
The process was broken into core decisions and repetitive actions, then simplified around driver selection, percentage, reporting period and statement generation.
The Solution
A Google Sheets and Apps Script workflow connected a driver database, dynamic inputs, automated calculations and PDF statement generation.
Outcome
The system reduced repetitive work, improved consistency of calculations, accelerated statement preparation and created a structure that can scale as drivers and rules change.
